The last 6 Week Beginners Course for 2017 is in October/November and will start again from February 2018. If you don’t want to wait that long you may like to purchase the online beginners course while you wait for February to roll round! It is the exact same course, you just do it at home. FIND OUT MORE.
IMPORTANT INFO! PLEASE READ!
6 Week Beginner Yogi Course Details:
WEEKS 1 & 2: Traditional Hatha style class. We’ll do a gentle warm up and then practice poses such as Child’s Pose, Spinal Twist, Forward Fold, Downward Facing Dog, Cobra, Warrior I, Warrior II and Tree Pose before coming back down to the mat and ending with a relaxation.
WEEKS 3 & 4: Sun Salutations and an introduction to the more flowing styles of yoga. We’ll break down the Sun Salutation sequence and practice moving with our breath, this practice often leaves people feeling energised and invigorated!
WEEKS 5 & 6: Yin is our focus for the last two weeks. Different from the previous weeks, yin is a slow paced class that holds postures for 3-5 minutes. This is a deep stretching class that targets our connective tissue (fascia). You’ll leave feeling longer and more relaxed!
6 Week Beginner Yogi Course Information:
Please ensure you are able to attend the FULL 6 weeks of the course, as we are unable to do ‘make up’ classes due to the popularity of the class
Unfortunately you aren’t able to mix and match days, but instead choose either the Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday to complete your course
Your space is NOT confirmed until you have schedule the classes on your chosen day/time (instructions to the right)
Beginner Yogi welcomes students from 15 years old and over, however if you have a child younger please contact Tash via email to ask about your child attending.
Registering and Booking your course:
Please register and purchase your course through MINDBODY or using the ‘BOOK YOUR SPACE’ button above.
Once purchased, from your MINDBODY account, please select the CLASSES tab
Choose the ‘Calendar’ icon in the top right and select the date your course starts (dates above) and then select ‘Sign Up‘ and set a ‘recurring booking‘ for the FULL six weeks. (If it says ‘Call‘ instead of ‘Sign Up‘ this means the course is full.)
