This workshop is designed to encourage and create a deep sense of wellbeing physically, mentally and/or emotionally, using gentle yin yoga poses and reiki healing energy.
The yin postures will be safe and supportive and the focus will be placed upon your breath. As you sink gently but deeply into each pose, you will receive reiki energy at various times through out the class.
Reiki is a very gentle and effective healing technique, where energy is channeled to the receiver through light touch (on the back and shoulders). When used in a yin yoga setting, it is deeply relaxing and can be very healing.
As the recipient, you may feel warmth, tingling, a feeling of peace and calm or simply just the light touch of hands placed on your back or shoulders.
You are invited to come along to this workshop with an intention, whether that is for physical or mental healing, overcoming challenges or simply just to welcome a deep sense of wellbeing and peace. You won’t have to share your intention, but it is more effective is there is one.
All levels of experience are welcome, this is suitable for pregnancy but the pre-natal positions will be different from the rest of the class structure.
