I am looking forward to working with pregnant woman through the medium of yoga, and feel honored to share part of their journey on this most magnificent ride! I am inspired to teach prenatal yoga as a result of creating my own three sons combined with my knowledge as a teacher.

The prenatal yoga classes will focus on guided meditations, breath work and asana practice specific to the stages of pregnancy with focus on being as physically healthy and emotionally well balanced as possible.

Yoga has, overtime become my quiet inspiration for all things. It makes me happy, keeps me strong (physically and mentally), allows me to breathe and best of all I get to work with others in the hope that they will reap the same rewards. To unite mind, body and breath is my focus during any asana practice, and to take the holistic principles of a yogic lifestyle beyond the mat and into my everyday life is what brings me into a better place. My own practice of a number of years slowly morphed into teaching, a natural transition from learning to guiding. I am a qualified yoga teacher (IYTA, Yoga Teacher’s Diploma) and have been teaching Hatha yoga in Karori and the CBD for over three years. As well as group classes (Karori Rec Centre) I teach privately, corporate groups, seniors, children’s yoga and now Prenatal classes (Bliss Baby Yoga qualified Prenatal Yoga Teacher, in Oct 2016).
